Dr. Judy Freiwirth, Principal, is an organization development consultant, trainer, and national speaker with Nonprofit Solutions Associates. For over thirty years she has been consulting to and training for nonprofits, networks, and coalitions, primarily with social change organizations. Her expertise and hands-on experience in strategic planning/strategy development, community and organizational assessment, governance, strategic alliance and organizational transitions, executive transitions, negotiation and conflict resolution, racial equity and diversity/inclusion, organizational development, program evaluation, constituent engagement and leadership development, community organizing, coalition-building, and whole-system change processes bring a unique perspective to her consulting, training, and speaking

She is the primary developer and researcher for the innovative governance approach, Community-Engagement Governanceā„¢, a framework in which community stakeholders are engaged in shared governance decision-making.

She has published numerous articles for The Nonprofit Quarterly and a contributing author for two recently published books, Nonprofit Governance: Innovative Perspectives and Approaches, Routledge Publishers; and You and Your Board: New Practices for Challenging Times from Researchers, Provocateurs, and Practioners. She serves on the Board of the national Alliance for Nonprofit Management (the national organization of capacity builders) and on Editorial Board the Journal of Nonprofit Education and Leadership. She holds a doctorate in psychology, specializing in organization development.

Her associate, Bob Mulcahy, Senior Technology Specialist, provides technology services for nonprofits including: strategic technology needs assessments, software selection and Implementation, data migration, and software-use training, He specializes in constituent relationship management (including CiviCRM and Salesforce), fundraising, and outreach software, and web site maintenance.
