Bio
Elizabeth Peck (she/her/hers), founder of EP Strategies (a woman owned business), brings over 20 years of experience in the non-profit sector and public policy, as well as experience in philanthropy. Leveraging this background and her start in research, she partners with nonprofits, Grantmakers, and government agencies through an equity and community centered approach. She offers services in public policy strategy, grantmaking processes and evaluation, community engagement, communicating research for action (e.g., producing briefs, evaluation, reports, etc.), project coordination, facilitation and more. Liz has worked in the areas of reproductive justice and adolescent sexual health, teen parents and families, housing and homelessness, and a variety of intersecting areas such as education, economic justice, racial justice, and public health more broadly. She is a mother, avid podcast listener, lover of yoga and mindfulness practices, and an active community member of Watertown, MA.
Liz is known for her ability to distill complex information into digestible, actionable communications, excellent client relationships, and her ability to tie systems level thinking to implementation. Her approach is collaborative, thorough, proactive, and values-driven.
Liz offers equity and community centered consulting, specializing in public policy, systems change and community engagement. While Liz has deep experience applying a race equity and health justice approach, she brings an intersectional lens to her work.
She takes on short-term projects and longer-term team-based roles, connected to her key services:
1. Project Management: Liz provides project coordination, implementation and thought partnership to advance multi-pronged initiatives (or campaigns, learning cohorts or networks).
2. Writing and Data Analysis: Liz collects and communicates data for action, and provides thought leadership (e.g., she conducts focus groups, analysis, and evaluation, and writes reports, briefs, etc.).
3. Systems Change and Public Policy: Liz delivers expertise in public policy program integration, facilitation, and training to advance systems change, community engagement and leadership.
4. Grants Management and Evaluation: Liz advances grantmaking for social impact through grants management, summary, and evaluation services for government agencies and funders.
